MNĒMA
A skin memory system. Read in silence.

What needed to exist.
Premium skincare suffers from a category-wide problem: every brand promises transformation, but few measure it. The brief was speculative — to imagine a house whose authority comes from continuous reading of the skin itself, not from marketing claims. The system needed to feel less like a beauty company and more like a measuring instrument. Less product, more document. Less promise, more attention.
How the system was built.
The core idea: skin memory. The product reads the skin through forty-seven measured points in twelve seconds, identifying three persistent signals — moisture, erosion, memory. Three objects emerge in response — a cleanser, a serum, a cream — recomposed every thirty days, or whenever the skin speaks otherwise. Identity was built around restraint and measurement: a custom wordmark on Cormorant Garamond with a modified macron, archival typographic specimens, deliberate negative space, and packaging that reads like a document rather than a product.
Wordmark, typography, color.

Wordmark
The wordmark is built on Cormorant Garamond with a modified macron over the Ē. The macron acts as a typographic memory — a small mark held over time, the central concept of the house condensed into a single character.

Typography
Cormorant Garamond carries headlines and product names. A monospaced typewriter face carries technical readouts and measurement values. The system speaks two voices: editorial restraint and clinical precision.
Palette
Three values: paper, ink, signal. The palette stays cool and archival — no warm whites, no marketing pastels. Color is reserved for measurement events, not decoration.
How the system lives.

“Memory is what the skin keeps when promises forget.”

What the system became.
The result reads less like a beauty brand and more like an editorial atlas — eighteen plates composed across identity, packaging, mobile product, and out-of-home. Every touchpoint speaks the same language: measurement, restraint, document.
